We all know Amazon. What many people don’t realize is that in 2018 as an extension of Amazon Prime, the company began to deliver their own packages under the banner of AmazonDelivers. This nascent brand made splashy headlines quickly through their testing of drones, but the core business includes large-scale freight operations through their own network of warehouses, delivery trucks and even airplanes.

While most of the positions they need filled are traditionally done through point-of-contact rather than online recruiting, to shift this pattern we were tasked with creating a mobile app to help keep candidates abreast of opportunities, deliver timely information updates and ultimately enable self-contained mobile applications that allowed candidates to simply show up for work once they had been approved.
